| We believe that the Bible is God's inspired word, and as such it is the only authority by which we are to live our lives. God created the world and all that is in it. - Genesis 1:1, John 1:1-3 God had a chosen people (Israelites), whom He gave the Mosaical law, to keep until the coming of the Messiah. - Hebrews 8:10-13 Jesus Christ, the Messiah, died on the cross for the sins of the world. - Hebrews 9:28 Salvation was purchased by the blood of Christ and is freely available to all those who love Him and keep His commandments. - John 14:15 Salvation comes through... hearing the gospel - Romans 10:17 believing the gospel - Mark 16:16 repenting (turning from) sin - Acts 2:38 confessing Christ - Matthew 10:32 being baptized for the remission of sins - Acts 2:38 living faithfully - Romans 6:4 These steps made a Christian 2000 years ago, and they still make a Christian today. |
